With "Spring-like" weather FINALLY coming around, Brian has been happily playing in the yard.
He even has Jacob excited about it!
We took a trip to St. George over Brian's spring break.
We spent a day at Zion National Park with Grandma. Despite the forecast, we made it through 2 hikes and a picnic without getting more than a couple of sprinkles on our heads. It was really fun!
We celebrated Jamie's (my brother) 26th birthday. My mom happened to buy him a pair of pants that could
hold all his presents at the same time. This was the picture of him with the dog pillow in his pants and shirt... Needless to say, I lost the battle.
We were snowed on during Spring Break in ST. GEORGE (okay, technically Anasazi Valley, but close enough). The petroglyphs were worth it, though.
Grandma's way of keeping Jakers warm.
We just celebrated Easter weekend with Jamie and Lexie. We went to the zoo (but forgot our camera, boo!), decorated eggs, had an egg hunt, visited Grandma Joyce, and had a great time together. The Easter bunny even came!! Happy Easter!
The Easter bunny brought Jacob something very special, but it won't actually be arriving until sometime around December 21st (yay Tammy!)...so, he gave him this shirt as an IOU.
SURPRISE!!!
We hope you are all having a wonderful Easter. It is slowly becoming my favorite holiday, even over Christmas, which is still really close. I just love the spiritual nature of Easter and the time to reflect about the Savior, Jesus Christ, and his great love and sacrifice for all mankind. I'm so grateful to know that He lives and loves every soul, including my own. Through Him, we will live again. And, if we do our duty, striving our best to to be like Him, our Savior offers us his grace that we may someday live with our Heavenly Father and our beloved families forever. There is no greater gift that has ever been given than the atonement and sacrifice of God's only-begotten Son. I am so grateful.
We love you all! Have a wonderful Easter!
